It’s my last day in Vallentuna (where I’ve been staying outside of Stockholm). Tomorrow morning I’ll be heading to the train station to make my way down to Kristianstad. I feel bitter-sweet about all of it. On the one hand, I’m happy to be moving into my dorm and finally settling in for the semester. On the other hand, I’m sad to be leaving the family I’ve stayed with and to be going to such a small town. Of course, Vallentuna itself is rather small, but it’s just a short subway ride away from Stockholm. 

The picture above is of the back door of the house. It’s a bit rainy today, so I decided to utilize the lighting. I’m sitting in the house alone while everyone is at school/work/running errands. It’s quite peaceful, which I enjoy.
